Setting Up and Adding Media to Your Survey

Step 1: Open Your Survey

Log in to your ProProfs Survey Maker dashboard and open the survey where you want to add media. Click on the question to which you’d like to add images or videos.

Step 2: Click the Media Icon

In the question editor, click the Media icon (image symbol) located next to the question text field. This opens the Media Manager window, where you can choose how to add your media.

Step 3: Choose How You Want to Add Media

In the Media Manager, select one of the following ways to add media and make your survey question more engaging.

  • Add an Image from the Library, Google, or Pexels.

  • Embed a Video from YouTube or Pexels.

  • Upload Your Own Media (image or video) directly from your device.

Adding Images:

You can add images to your survey question from multiple sources:

  • Library: Select from previously uploaded images.

  • Google: Search for and insert images directly from Google.

  • Pexels: Browse and insert royalty-free, high-quality stock images.

After inserting an image, you can resize or reposition it to fit your survey’s layout.

Tip: For best results, use images around 600 px width × 300 px height.

Adding Videos:

You can also embed videos to make your questions more interactive:

  • YouTube: Paste a YouTube video URL in the Media Manager to embed it directly.

  • Pexels: Add a royalty-free stock video by pasting its Pexels URL.

Note: MP4 is the supported format. For smooth playback, ensure the video follows the recommended size and resolution guidelines.

Uploading Your Own Media:

If you wish to upload your own media instead of using Library or stock sources, go to the Upload tab in the Media Manager.

Note: Supported image formats include JPG, PNG, and GIF. For the best appearance, follow the same sizing recommendations (600 × 300 px).

Step 4: Preview and Save

After adding media and adjusting its placement, click Done to save your changes.

You can click Preview to see how the media appears in your survey.

That’s all about setting up and adding media in ProProfs Survey Maker. Please contact our support team if you encounter any issues or questions.
